Coir Yarn is created from fibre derived from coconut husk. It is spun by hand, as well as using traditional looms and completely mechanised spinning machines, using excellent Coir Fibre. Coconut Coir Yarns and Ropes have a high tensile strength and are easy to work with and store. They are both cost effective and environmentally beneficial.

Coir yarn is made from white or brown fibre and is spun manually or semi-mechanically. It is used in the production of mats/matting and carpets, rubber-based brush mats/matting, nettings/Geotextiles (land – scalping and on road embankments to prevent soil erosion). Made from the best one-tie brush fibre (2 ply) with two cotton or synthetic threads twisted (or interwoven) for added strength and durability. Because of its high quality and natural characteristics, coir yarn is in high demand across a wide range of sectors.
